They are the advertising agency behind such brands as <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.hummer.com\" target=\"_blank\">Hummer<\/a><\/strong>, <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cadillac.com\" target=\"_blank\">Cadillac<\/a><\/strong>, and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tiaa-cref.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">TIAA-CREF<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/jerrysjuicebar.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/dogatemyhomework.jpg\" alt=\"\" hspace=\"8\" vspace=\"8\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" align=\"left\" \/>Modernista!&#8217;s non-site-site was brought to my attention by Bill Mount of Trephine Inc. via John Brodeur, both of whom are working on the new web site for the agency I work for, approporiately called, Brodeur.<\/p>\n<p>In the words of Bill, Modernista! may have &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>&#8230; created the first &#8216;siteless website&#8217; and, in so doing, have sent the message that these are people for whom unconventional thinking is like breathing (they didn&#8217;t say &#8216;we&#8217;re unconventional&#8217;, they proved it in th every form of their communication). They &#8216;simply&#8217; appropriated parts of the web that everybody&#8217;s already familiar with and used them to tell the Modernista! story:<\/p>\n<p>* About us is on <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.wikipedia.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wikipedia<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n* Leadership team bios are on <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n* The TV reel is on <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n* The Print Portfolio is on <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flicker.com\" target=\"_blank\">Flicker<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>And it is all bound together by a discreet, little red banner in the upper left corner of your browser. Damn! I mean, seriously. Damn!<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t know if Brodeur&#8217;s going to have a &#8220;siteless website&#8221; but the Modernista! approach shows the power .. and the logical extension? .. of true social media.<\/p>\n<p>I agree with Bill.<\/p>\n<p>Damn!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Check out Modernista!
