For awhile there I thought the word for 2009 was going to be “frugality.”<\/p>\n

Frugal.\u00a0 Being thrifty.\u00a0 Back to those values that our new president spoke about last Tuesday.\u00a0 Values that are not new, but old.\u00a0 Most people who had Depression-era parents (like me) knows “frugal.”<\/p>\n

But after lo\"\"<\/a>oking at the Hyundai commercials<\/a><\/strong>, I’m thinking of another word.<\/p>\n

“Resigned.”<\/p>\n

I mean, really.<\/p>\n

Selling someone a car and then saying that if they get fired from their job you’ll take it back?<\/p>\n

That doesn’t makes me want to go out and buy a Hyundai!\u00a0 Sounds more like a death wish.\u00a0 Oh, and by the way, isn’t it when you’re out of a job that you need a car the most!\u00a0 To get to the next interview?\u00a0 Now that’s a campaign.\u00a0 Lose your job?\u00a0 We’ll loan you a Hyundai for six weeks to help you find another.\u00a0 But no.\u00a0 We’ll take your money first.<\/p>\n

I’m thinking of going to clients with “Hyundai <\/a><\/strong>campaigns …”<\/p>\n
