So here’s a question for you.\u00a0 What time zone do you live in.\u00a0 Which is most relevant to you?<\/p>\n

I’ll outline three.\u00a0 And you have to pick one.\u00a0 That’s right.\u00a0 Only one.\u00a0 The one that is most relevant for you.<\/p>\n

Note:\u00a0 there is NO right or wrong answer.\u00a0 Just an answer.<\/p>\n

Here are your choices.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Traditionalists <\/strong>– History is important – personal, familial, cultural.\u00a0 What has gone before should not be forgotten.\u00a0 Traditions matter.\u00a0 They are there for a reason.\u00a0 Anchors.\u00a0 Guideposts.\u00a0 They hold both family and society together.\u00a0 They are precious gifts from one generation to the next.\u00a0 By reflecting on and understanding the past we can best adapt and enjoy what’s ahead.<\/p>\n

Existentialists <\/strong>– What is most important is today; what is happening now.\u00a0 Carpe diem.\u00a0 Seize the day.\u00a0 By focusing on the moment we give energy and meaning to every breath and every experience.\u00a0 It is not that yesterday or tomorrow do not matter.\u00a0 They do.\u00a0 But we create yesterdays and tomorrows by living every day – right now – to its fullest.<\/p>\n

Utopians <\/strong>– We live today in hope for tomorrow.\u00a0 Things have and will get better.\u00a0 And that is because people have great visions and take great risks.\u00a0 We have an indefatigable confidence in what tomorrow can be.\u00a0 We have the dream and the discipline to cross the next frontier and make the next advancement.\u00a0 We want and are building what is next.<\/p>\n

So there it is.\u00a0 Which time zone floats your boat?\u00a0 Which makes you most comfortable.\u00a0 Where (rather, when) do you spend most of your time?\u00a0 Are you the Traditionalist who lives in the past, the Existentialist who\u00a0 lives in the present, or the Utopian who lives in the future?<\/p>\n

Could it be that brands also live in a particular time zone?\u00a0 Some relate to us by tradition.\u00a0 Others by experience.\u00a0 Others through hope.<\/p>\n

There is no right or wrong choice.<\/p>\n
